Day 1 - Meeks Bay to Stoney Ridge Lake 7/8/22

The trail starts to climb and leaves the forest service road about a mile or so into the hike.
Wildflowers galore.

Since we started hiking at 330pm, the afternoon light on all the lupine was just gorgeous!

One of the few open spaces on the trail. It was a very consistent climb that seemed pretty easy during the cooler evening hours.
