Germans Invade Tahoe

A fun, somewhat relaxing trip to South Lake Tahoe during Spring Break. It had been 70 degrees prior to our arrival, but the snow gods decided California needed a bit more moisture for the year while we were there.

Virginia City

The home of the Comstock Lode- richest silver play in US history discovered in 1859. It was the only place we could think of to go to get out of the snow. I'm kicking myself for not stopping to photograph the working gold/silver mines directly adjacent to the highway.
